I have to say this and I apologize for my RANT .... The rescue world is full of unnecessary drama and BS... and it takes away the focus on the animals that need our help.... Im not trying to start drama but there are Rules Regulations and Laws that Rescues must follow under the Dept. Of Agriculture. They are established for the safety and welfare to both humans and animals. Therefore for the life of me I cannot understand a few things I have to get off my chest... 1) How can a rescue make a donation of vaccines and neuter if they cannot feed their own dogs? 2) Why are these so called rescue groups have dogs that have NOT been adopted for months on end... Some have had dogs over a year without finding them homes... yet legitimate Rescues have their paperwork in order, they have their IRS non - profit status and a license... they feed their dogs and all are usually on average adopted out within about 6 to 8 weeks or LESS... makes you think about who is legitimate and who is not....
