I have to share an inspiring note a fan just left for me! It absolutely warmed my heart and made my day. This is why I do it guys!! Note from a fan: Louis Lamore was famous for his westerns with wholesome carectures. But, did you know that he also wrote a great book called Last of the Breed that was not a western as well as at least one book of poetry. If an author has a storey to tell I will read what they write because I like the way they make me experience the situation and evoke my emotions as well as being a genre that I particularly like. Actually, I have a confession to make. GULP ......I dont normally read women authors but, I met Shandys husband Criss yesterday and he shamelessly shared about the series that his wife had available on Kindle. I read the first in the built on fear series that night, the second book last night and will read the last one today. I am a 67 year old retired woman and while I normally wouldnt read something in the YA category (let alone by a woman ;) ) I must admit that I have enjoyed your gift for story telling and would recommend this to others, YA or elderly. As you grow in life your experiences will lead you to tell us different stories and those of us that like your spirit that comes across will follow you. Challenge us to read something out of our norm. Even little old ladies can be swayed sometimes! Keep telling your stories and as they say, if you build it they will come. Sincerely, Linda
