I have to share my parenting experiences: One EXTREMELY HOT - TopicsExpress

I have to share my parenting experiences: One EXTREMELY HOT summer day in May, me and my boyfriend decided to walk to his granddads (who is literally in his backyard) to go visit with him. Well I kept noticing a striped cat roaming around. At first I thought she was just walking home, then she started following us. We tried to ignore her, but then we heard the most pitiful thing. When we reached the door, she jumped up on the railing and meowed so desperately, it brought tears to my eyes. Insisting that we keep her until we could find a stable home, I was rejected 3 times. Then she meowed again. She was starving, alone, and scared. We took her home, and fed her until she could eat no more. I decided we should at least give her a name, so we named her Claire Elise. Well we had a male cat in the house, so naturally we took whatever precautions we could to keep from ending up with kittens. By the end of June we realized that we had failed. Claire started to get bigger and bigger by the minute. We had no idea how many there were. Well one day Claire came up missing. She was gone 3 days. We figured she had found a suitable place for her to give birth, and she did. On July 27, 2014, we found all 5 of them under the porch. 3 days later Claire, unfortunately, died. I cried knowing they would die without their mother. Realizing Claire was dead, we bought kitten milk & bottles. We bottle fed them until they were 6 weeks old. Sadly at week 3, 2 of our beloved furbabies passed away. Hardest thing to experience. But we have 3 beautiful babies, that we love and adore so much. We named them Socks (our only living female), Spiderman (male), & FatOne (also male). So I became a parent at age 16 (then, Im 17 now) to 5 wonderful babies. I wouldnt trade them for the world. #ilovemyfurbabies #mywholeworld
