I have to share this discovery. Most who know me know I love music of virtually any kind. I have found a new ear worm that is literally over 40 years old and it makes me feel so good I cant imagine it wont make you feel good too. Yes, you see it right. Chuck Mangione. Land of Make Believe was on an early album long before his break out in the early 1980s. It makes me wanna dance with abandon like I am am in Rio at carnival or something (you can thank me later for that visual). Take a listen and be patient. Its long but good. I should also add that in a weird connection to my music school days Chuck Mangione studied with Ted Betts at the Eastman School of Music. Teds trumpet studio ended up at BGSU for many years. I remember passing him in the halls many times. He was one of the coolest guys you could ever meet. Enjoy!
