I have to share this little story from yesterday that really made my heart swell with pride. Liz was picking up Troy from Kindergarten and a lady approached her car and asked if she was Troys Mom. She said Yes, and the lady explained that she works in the cafeteria and was in awe of Troy. Apparently there is a special needs child in his class, and each day at lunch, Troy has taken it upon himself to help him get his tray, open his milk, and sit with him when others dont or wont. He simply saw someone in need and instinctively stepped up to help! Real leadership isnt about position, rank or title. Its about setting the right example, even when it isnt the popular thing to do. Thats my boy! :-)
