I have to share this story because its so powerful. Someone shared it with me and I feel the need to share it. A wife and a husband came in the Apple store. The husband was blind and deaf. The wife is deaf and mute. They came in the store to purchase a laptop because Apple computers has the VoiceOver software that speaks whatever you scroll over. The whole transaction took over 3 hrs because the only way the staff could communicate with the gentleman was writing on a piece of paper while he held their hand. Over the years he learned the keyboard so he was able to type. The only way the wife was could communicate with the husband was that she either had to sign while he followed the movements with his hands or she could speak while he put his hand on her mouth and felt her mouth. Two people like that despite all the handicaps they have still fighting each and everyday is inspiring. They could both hang it up and just not come out the house and anybody could understand. They could leave each other and find two other people that could make their lives much easier but they stick it out and make it work. Makes my problems look so trivial... Even tho you might not be in the place you want to be at this particular moment, be grateful for the things you have.
