I have to take a moment to say how proud I am of my athletes that competed this weekend at the South Georgia Throwdown. Hunter Nicole Anderson, Chris Finley, Colton Grove, and my no facebook girl Kori represented 229 crossfit and did an awesome job. I know i claim them, but of course by my i mean all the coaches and members at 229. I pushed these CF newbies to compete and they damn sure didnt disappoint! Ive had the joy of coaching these guys only a short time(less than 3 months) and they competed like veterans. PRs all around and a placing that was more than respectable. Not only did they show out, they fueled more members to challenge themselves. Today was absolutely electric at the box. Existing members were fired up and newbies were everywhere, ready to start their own journey. I can only say myself, Andrea, Matthew, and Jennifer are truly humbled to have the opportunity to coach, and teach such an awesome group of athletes!
