I have to take my hat off to Liverpool FC which in its new found guardianship against the creeping malfeasance that is marring the majesty of the beautiful game has taken the decision to sell because they could no longer countenance the tarnishing of their image by taking £75M from the bottomless wallets of the morally bankrupt Spanish. So biting someone mars an image, what about all the play-acting for free-kicks? blatantly kicking a ball out of play and appealing for the throw or goal kick? Feigning injury to have an opponent penalised or gain an unfair advantage? The World Cup is and always has been a focal point for all that is Football and this one is no different, glorious talent like James Rodriguez and Neymar and the cynical hypocritical side as shown by the Cameroonian squad and its 7 bad apples and of course Suarez who has gone from feigning injury to his teeth, to hopefully lessen his punishment, to a lucrative trip to Spain... I suppose if he errs again they can say Im sorry hes from Barcelona What about the children? What does all this teach them? lying and cheaters often prosper to an obscene degree and as long as you are capable of earning huge sums for your masters you have carte blanche to do what you will.... Hooray. Some of us are listening Penelope Nash its just giving enough of a shit to write it all down.
