I have to tell a story about what happened to my wife and I, we were heading home from doing a pick (I am a professional picker) we had a pick up truck full of antiques. we pulled into the gas station and i saw a police officer parked in the lot next to the station and i saw him watch me go in and then come out and put gas in my truck so he saw who i was (an older white male) i then pulled out of the station and the police car followed me for over 2 miles and then as soon as another police car showed up he pulled me over. he walks up to my car and states that he pulled me over for not having a front plate and could i shut me car off and show him some id and registration and the he starts yelling to my wives car what are you doing all she was doing was pulling in behind them i told him she was with me he stated thats not cool her pulling over behind us so i waved her to get in front of my truck. fro minute one the tone was very stern so if he was pulling me over for no front plate you think he would have not waited for another patrol car and not been so stern. he then asked me to get out of the vehicle thats when i told him sir Im not sure whats going on but Im a retired corrections officer and you being pretty had about not having a front plate. once i said that his tone changed which was cool for me but what if i did not say that. thats when he confessed that he really pulled me over for having all the stuff in the back of the truck and since there has been a lot of burglaries in the area he wanted to make sure i wasnt some thief. that story is over but i do first hand see what people are saying and down where my store is i do see the police being aggressive before they even speak to someone. there was a fight in front of my store a coulpe of weeks ago yes just 2 men and the fight was over 3 minutes before and both were walking away in different directions the only part that bothers me is why 8 police cars responded. it was to guys that were arguing and not really fighting and the police came in so hard and fast it was like the something huge was going on.
