I have to tell you guys a couple of things one a blessing and the other, a warning regarding what is being taught in the public high school right here in Palatka. First Id like to say, I had my heart truly blessed today at work. This couple had brought a dear friend fishing down at the dam. I watched as they helped him out the truck, gave him his cane and carried his rod and chair to the pier. I told the younger gentleman how precious I thought that was and what a blessing it was to see. We talked a few minutes and then I he went along and I proceeded pressure washing. Later, I saw the older man whom was 92, sitting under the pavilion. I walked over and we talked for about 30min. He was a WWII and Korean Veteran. He had also traveled about all over the world and was blessed to have gone to Israel and walked the places where Jesus had walked and walked the road to Golgotha. He expressed how blessed he was and had been all of his life. Now, the people who were caring for him were not relatives but neighbors. When his wife passed away 4yrs. Ago, they made him a room in there home and took him in and the love they have for him and he for them made my heart swell so big in praise for God that we still have people in this world who do truly love one another. I told them what a blessing they were to me! I have thought about them all afternoon! The other thing which is regards to what is being taught in our public high school is this, if anyone on here has a child in school,especially middle and high and you are a Christian,you may want to check out the new world history books!!! Read up on Jesus and what the say and omit! It takes out the virgin birth and calls the persecuted and execution of Christians back then as fictitious. There is a lot more that would take too long to explain so you need to read it. Also, Lindsey had come home at the beginning of the year with a history book that was fairly new. It had the mention of the virgin birth and didnt with hold Jesus and His ministry. She had to turn it back in because they received these new ones which now includes Islam and Isis. Makes me wonder f I should yank her from the system and place her in private to get her away from the socialism and secularism being taught.
