I have to tell you how my day has gone so far and its only NOON!! I had to have a Mammogram at the butt crack of dawn this morning and while the girl is pulling and squishing me, she is telling me all about the boys she used to know from Waterville. So she has me laughing while she has my boobs in a vice and then tells me to hold still. WHAT? You cant tell me funny stories about people I know and then tell me to hold still. I got a clean bill of health and she should get a raise!! After the squishing, I head to Target to shop for some bedding for a single man and two teenage daughters that dont have a place to live. When I get to the check out line the lady at the cash register asks me if I am sending kids off to college. I said no and told her the story that I was giving the bedding to fire victims. She came around the cash register when I was done and HUGGED ME!!!!! We cried. I have no idea who she was, but I think we are best friends now. Then I head to the bank. I have a fist full of donation checks to cash and a trailer on hold in Wenatchee while we wait to get enough money to pay for it. I am doing the math in my head and we are short $350. Fricking Uncle Sam wants me to pay tax! Hes a Jerk! So on my way home from Wenatchee I am plotting in my head how I am going to plea to the public for $350. Should I take it out of my savings? Since I just bought bedding, my husband would probably stroke out. Should I take it out of Garys savings? (UM NO) Should I beg on Facebook? It seems to be working pretty well. I am a little sad that I dont have the full amount cause I would like to buy a trailer for this family TODAY. So I go to the post office and there is one envelope in there. Most of the time, one envelope doesnt have $350 in it, so I am still a little sad. I get it open and out comes a check for $500!!! HOW DOES GOD KNOW THESE THINGS? Its Noon on a Tuesday and I have had the BEST DAY EVER... ALREADY! I even got all my groceries and have them put away!!. I should really call it a day now before something bad happens ;)
