I have to wonder if the students, or the university, are aware that the Houston SPCA kills the majority of the animals in their "care"? The last time that they were honest and released their records to the public, they were killing 65% of all animals---and they are a LIMITED admission facility. That is an atrocious kill rate considering there are now 160+ OPEN ADMISSION, shelters SAVING 90%-99% of all animals. Why is this atrocious kill rate being supported? Surely, there are other shelters more deserving of that support?
