I have tremendous respect for grassroots politicians, especially the popular ones. It is not easy endearing yourself to ordinary people - money, time, patience and loads of sh-t are involved. It is a reason one had some token of sympathy for Ekiti State Governor, Ayo fayose, towards his re-election. But Fayose is about to gun igi koja ewe with ordinary people in Ekiti State. The man should try and read the story of Yannibo and his Ana again. Mr. Tortoise was the toast of all and sundry as he dished out a well-deserved punishment to his father-in-law. But the vindictive Ijapa was shocked as gbogbo ara ilu descended on him upon their return from the market and seeing the old man still under Ijapas punishment. What on earth would have made Fayose to seal the petrol station of Ekiti states Number Three citizen? It does not make sense at all. And, to me, it is beyond stupidity. When you say Ekiti State Government, it consists of Executive, Legislature and Judiciary. What happens if the Legislature sits and pass a resolution stopping Fayose from touching anything banks involving Ekiti State? Who are Fayoses friends? Who are his advisers? Must a blind belief in PDPs supremacy force Fayose to behave like a King? I foresee a bigger disgrace than what befell him before IF Fayose does not move back from this senseless vindictive attitude. The governor should go and read about Ahitophel. But Ijapas disgrace after the mess with the tortoises father-in-law should be enough for him instead of a serious recourse to the Holy Bible. Disgrace is waiting for Fayose IF he continues with this mess.
