I have tried to not bombard my Facebook with this entire situation. Unfortunately my entire Facebook is and I guess It has gotten on my last nerve. I cant escape posts from either end of the spectrum and all I read and see is this situation everywhere. So this is the only shpeel I am going to post. I am not entertaining this on social media beyond this one rant. Take it or leave it; whatever. This is my view. In terms of the extreme Right chirping on the Israeli side - calling for the complete annihilation of the Palestinians, refusing to acknowledge that TODAY there is a Palestinian people that deserve their right for self-determination just as much as Jews do at this point, ENOUGH. You are not bringing anything productive or intelligent to the conversation. All you are doing is acting EXACTLY like the enemies of Israel who deny its existence and right to self-determination. STOP and THINK. Stop being sheep and start thinking for yourselves, start working on that anger and stop fuelling the fire with these ridiculous extremist perspective. NO EXTREME IS ACCEPTABLE - NOT OURS AND NOT THEIRS. Im sick of it. Now, in terms of the other extreme side of the argument, this is what I have to say to you. What the world doesnt understand - and seems to naively think wont come to haunt them as well at some point, is that until they begin to condemn Hamas and radical jihadis everywhere and until the Palestinians themselves in these regions do not kick Hamas out of power, there will never be peace. Never. Stop and look around at all the Arab countries with civil wars since the Arab spring... they toppled their dictators only to begin fighting against the jihadis who are readily willing to oppress them further; this time in the name of their twisted version of Islam and strict sharia law. Until the muslims of the Western and European world wake up and remember why they are here and not back home, they will never wake up and realize that just because you are enjoying the land of cultural pluralism far away from where the extremists are persecuting your people, these same people that your parents and grandparents fled from, are the same people who if succeed in blowing up the west, will kill you along with all of us. YOU ARE NOT EXEMPT. Dont be so naive - muslims suffer the most from these true infidels. The palestinians had 2 choices when Hamas came into power - vote for Hamas or die. So sick of hearing oh they were democratically voted in... no they were not. They were bullied and intimidated into accepting Hamas and now they will continue to die as Hamas leaders use their suffering to convince the west that it is solely Israel that is killing them, and not these pathetic excuses for men. No matter how thin you slice it, there are ALWAYS many sides to a conflict and of course it is always very easy to make everything so black and white so you dont have to face and challenge your own comfortable convictions and to avoid feeling stupid for jumping on a bandwagon just to fill some guilty void about your privilege in life. For the sake of argument, lets say Israel is gone tomorrow and the Palestinians have their state, what do you think? This will all end? Think again. It always starts with the jews and never ends with them. Once there is no more Israel to divert your attention and condemnation, it will come straight to your doorstep. Trust in that. These people will NEVER accept 2 states side by side. They will NEVER accept a jewish state, no matter how small, no matter how peaceful. Israel is damned if it does, and damned if it doesnt. So it might as well do what it needs to do to survive. As long as they are in power, all we will see is fighting, but you can bet your asses that chirping about human rights abuses from your comfortable middle class western surroundings doesnt change reality as much as you would like it to. Live under Hamas and lets see how much you will understand about the situation. Speak out against Hamas and lets see if you live. Lets say, again, for the sake of argument, that tomorrow Israel decides to get out of the West Bank and the settlers in the West Bank are left under Palestinian jurisdiction, will you continue to chirp about their eventual expulsion? Will you condemn the imminent discrimination against them and the exclusion from Palestinian society once the tables turn in that particular region? Because this will be the reality if Hamas continues to be in power. Or will you fall silent because the only people you give 2 shits about are not the humans of the world, but only the one side that you blindly follow suit with for your own skewed interests? Until the world begins to dismantle Hamas and their ilk across the Arab and Muslim world, the world will not see peace - with or without Israel. You can bet all your money on it. Watch this video, at least some are waking up to the reality that this jihadi movement is a farce and a lie and is NOT in any way, shape, or form in the best interests of any Arab regardless of religious denomination, Westerner, European, Pan-Asian or Israeli alike. WAKE UP.
