I have two children with complex physical and medical needs, which Friston ward managed very well because the doctors and nurses knew them very well! My husband and I would take it turns to stay with the child in hospital but we would visit every day with sibling. But now due to Mr Graysons cut backs we go to Brighton! At present my son is there and he could be there for Christmas! This is going be hard for us as emotionally, finically and physically, if we had Friston opened 24hrs, we may have brought him home to open his presents and have Christmas dinner at home! Instead if in hospital I will have to drive to Brighton, he wont be able to open his presents and goodness knows what we will eat for Christmas lunch as I dont think anything will be opened! I bet Mr Grayson will be thinking about families like ours on Christmas Day!
