I have two news stories to comment on. First is our stupid state legislature with Gov. Inslee are actually considering a special fall special session to discuss raising the gas tax 10 cents a gallon. I know our transportation network needs work but before any money is sent to transportation we need a major overhaul of the transportation department. Especially when it comes to how money is spent and accounted for. Then we need to make sure any and all transportation moneies stay in the transportation department and are NOT!!!! but into general fund. Also do the majority of citizens and politicians not realize when motor fuels are taxed the prices of everything has been increased except for wages. Stupidest idea imagineable in a tough economy. Second issue from news: Zimmerman trial. Any person with any common sense knows that we just wasted vast sums of money with a trial that was politically motivated with no chance of conviction whatsoever. But never fear (my opinon) our braindead media is out there stirring up the pot in hopes of creating riots in the streets. It amazes me; if anyone read facts of case or spent twenty minutes listening to the trial testimony and are able to use common sense then the verdict should come as no surprise to anyone. The media did get it partially correct when they said the prosecution did not prove its case. Duh, because they had no case to begin with.
