I have two wonderful little boys that I would not change in any way. They are smart, funny, thoughtful, and energetic. They both happen to have severe food allergies. We avoid peanuts, tree nuts, seeds, eggs, dairy, and fish every day in our household. Food allergies affect our lives in hundreds of ways on a daily basis. The good news is we have so much more information today than we did 5 years ago...and soon I am convinced we will have more answers, more information, and even a cure! There are two things I can do in the meantime: 1) Be vigilant in protecting them from their allergens. 2) Raise money for research, advocacy, and awareness for a cause so close to my heart!
