I have waited for some time to actually post something personally - TopicsExpress

I have waited for some time to actually post something personally about the conflict that is waging in Israel and Gaza. As I post this, I realize that some will disagree, that even some of my colleagues in ministry might disagree and that is OK. I realize that as I post this, that I may open myself up for criticism. That is OK! What is happening is spiritual, it is biblical, and I believe that it is time that as Christians and church leaders, we must take a stand. Mankind is warned in Scripture to be careful how he treats the nation of Israel. God also states in scripture that there will be a coming judgement on nations as to how they treated Israel. The bible is absolutely clear that God has chosen the nation of Israel and the Jewish people for His Divine purposes. I will admit that I dont understand it all. Israel had done everything possible to prevent the loss of human life in Gaza. We, the church, must make a stand with Israel in the last days. I encourage everyone to read updates from my good friend who lives in Israel, Jack Michael Utterback, and updates from Ministry to Israel. The hatred of Hamas, which is connected to the Muslim Brotherhood, is bent on the absolute total destruction of Israel and its people. We cannot pick and choose what parts of the Bible we like and those we dont. I realize that we can all view scripture differently. But as it relates to Israel, something is and should be crystal clear. When God established the covenant with Abraham and promised to make him into a great nation, He said these words. I will bless those who bless you, and I will curse those who curse you. That promise has never been, nor ever will be revoked. I pray that no one falls into what many believe in replacement theology. That view simply means that God no longer views Israel according to how He spoke in the Bible, and that we, as Christians have replaced Israel in the eyes of God. As for one, I stand with Israel! Please realize that this is a spiritual battle and one of the strategies of the enemy is to turn the world against Israel. That is happening right now by everything that we are seeing on the nightly news and by many in Hollywood. I have never seen a time where many believers, Pastors and many church leaders are buying into what the mainstream media is portraying. It breaks my heart and I believe the heart of God. This does not mean that Israel is perfect, it just means that Gods plan and His thoughts have never changed regarding the nation of Israel, to whom God referred to as the apple of His eye. We should pray for peace in the region. We should pray for the Christians in Gaza. We should pray for the salvation of those who oppose Israel, and yes, we should pray for those who are blinded by Hamas. And at the same time, Hamas needs to be destroyed.
