I have walked along the Eno several times now. And I realized she is never the same river I visit each time. She is ever changing, flowing strong and steady down her path, giving life to the many plants and animals that live by her. I have sat along her banks and watched her travel to her destination, completely sure of her path; at times excitable because of intense rains and other times calm and quiet. I want to be as strong and sure as the river. I want to be still and calm and at the same time ever changing. And when an obstacle falls in her path she surely and steadily finds a way around it. Be like the river.
