I have wedding gowns on my mind and on my sofa, chair, table etc. Working on Hollys book for the 26th, her birthday. So many photos to choose from. Holly married twice in her life. She and Tom Patton tried to have children and did not.They were married 7 years (7/30/88-1995) and parted amicably. On October 22, 2000 Holly married Kevin Bremerkamp. I had bought a dress for her while shopping for a Snow Queen costume several years before. At that time there were no marriage plans but she said, Mom, this dress is so inexpensive and if you buy it for me now, I promise I will wear it someday. I did and she did. First gown is silk which we got from Maiden Voyage for $100 as it had a water stain on the train. Came out with cleaning. Original price about $1500. Second gown cost little more than the first. That girl has an eye. Here are her two gowns--yes, she married in ivory the second time. First marriage in the drawing room of The Saum Hotel and the last one in the chapel and receiving tomb of Bellefontaine Cemetary, a beautiful chapel, the first couple ever to be married there.She carried a bouquet that looked like a bonfire and their only attendants were Kevins children, Pearce and Amelia Amelia DisBremerkamp. it was just lovely and NO, I didnt do the ceremony.
