I have wondered, as I tend to do, that while during the Renaissance most were commissioned by the Church to create in the name of God and most believed in the cause, could there have been a secret order which was against the Church and which painted, composed, and built (even in thought) in opposition to it. My mind immediately goes towards Leonardo Da Vinci and his creations. There is much speculation that he incorporated hidden images in his paintings that were anti-religious. I am merely curious because I wonder how far back Anti-Theism goes.... It is amazing how much potential being Atheist can fill you with.... I am at odds with the masses, against Christendom(in the Western world)... and it makes me feel amazing... I have a cause, a purpose, and that is to prove(among other things) that an atheist can be better than a Christian in morale value, love, and humanitarian ideals....... I do not need the love of Jesus to forgive me, because nothing judges me, existence functions and that is just the way it is.
