I havent done a post like this in a while but I remember tweeting out earlier this year that I guarantee leaders from a popular business opportunity (Wake Up Now) would be moving their teams to other opportunities by the end of the year. And sure enough.... I never bought into the pyramid scheme thing because business opportunities are legitimate. The pitfall of business opportunities is that the business model is not long term and from sitting back watching and participating Ive gathered that most have a momentum of 6 months and the really good ones can maintain upward mobility momentum for about 2 years max. I highly recommend people not to join anymore business opportunities and just start their own business or either transition to something more sustainable such as affiliate marketing. Also note that business opportunities work best for leaders and top earners but for the average person who has yet to see massive success after jumping around so much and following these people, youll start to kill your own reputation and rapport amongst your peers basically youre shooting yourself in the foot. Relationships and money made goes hand in hand. If people see you as just a hustler or peddler, they definitely wont buy into anything youre selling now or later. Ive learned at the end of the day theres nothing like having your own because as a true business owner you can reinvent, scale and have upward mobility for as long as you are delivering value. As an IBO youre basically a glorified employee and if things within your respective company go haywire it falls upon you and theres nothing you can do about it. If you want to be a real boss, start a REAL business.
