I havent given an update on Mom in a while either, so I will do that too now: Mom did not have a very good day yesterday. I was very concerned about her yesterday. She had her first radiation treatment Fri and hasnt really felt very good all weekend, had some nausea and vomiting. Then yesterday, she got up to use the rest room, which she uses her wheelchair and she had tremors so bad she had to call the nurses for help. Later on yesterday when my sister and I went to see her, her tremors were so bad, her whole body was shaking and when she tried to carry on a conversation, she could not finish a sentence and then forgot what she was gonna say in the first place. This was very upsetting. I thought that maybe she had had a stroke or something, but when we had first for there, I noticed she did not have her oxygen on and she had no idea how long she had it off. Than today when I talked to her this am, she said her shaking was some better and she was talking totally normal! So, I got to thinking, she probably did not have a stroke, but it was probably from her mot having oxygen on and she was not getting enough oxygen going to her brain. Regardless, we have an appt with her neurologist Thurs and will find out what is going on for sure. While all this is going on, my sister came down from Jax to help pack up my mothers apt and put it in storage, boy, that was real fun! I am sore exhausted and a bit overwhelmed, but its got to get done. Again, thank you all for all your prayers, Mom and I appreciate it sooooo much.
