I havent had one of these for awhile, but last night I had a whopper of an inadequacy dream. My church was gathered in a huge room to discuss some big decision they had to make. A small contingent stood up to make a strong and negative speech, and I was upset because they didnt discuss it with me beforehand. When I confronted one of them about why he hadnt come to talk to me, he showed me his frail and sick father and said he had been caring for him. I saw my son in the crowd looking around wondering where I was on such an important day Then I decided it was time to stand up and talk, but before I did, I went to get something, left the building, drove somewhere and didnt know how to get back. Finally, in my dream, I told myself that none of this bullshit is actually happening, and I woke up. I know we all have deep down and hidden inadequacys, but I have also made an appointment with Dr. Freud this afternoon.
