I havent posted a gym pic or vid here in a long time. I did NOT make a New Years Resolution to get back in shape.. I made a resolution to continue my journey of living the healthiest life possible and for me, it means weighing a lot -- its just how Im made. But, would it be fat or muscle? I decided 10 months ago to see if I could make it muscle again. I go to the gym 2 hours a day M-F and sometimes on Saturday if Ive eaten like a crazy man. I feel much healthier. Im seeing great gains cardio-wise and with muscularity and I plan to continue. Im a cancer survivor and decided I would do exactly the opposite of what cancer would want me to do. I am not sharing this to show off -- Im posting this in the hopes it will motivate some of you who have felt as I did a year ago. You dont have to lift heavy weights or do two hours a day. You can get up and move that body for 15 or 20 or 30 minutes a day. Get that blood flowing and remind those muscles and that heart that you have a long life to live and tons of reasons why you want to be as healthy as possible. Thx a ton to my training partner Nydia (https://facebook/pages/Nydia/1401822313405281) whos a pain in the ass... but, pushes me hard. For those wondering, this is the end of our shoulder workout today. Shoulder shrugs with 315 pounds on the bar. Joe Pags
