I havent posted a political statement on FB but its time let out the frustration. Democrats need to find a new angle to make any headway against Republicans. Martha Coakley trying to bash Baker for making a boat load of money being a really smart businessman, and saying hes only going to help the top 1% is just stupid and old Democrat politics and its run its course. I consider myself an independent Democrat but both sides make me want to hurl. Rep party says Dems are tax and spend, and Dems say Reps only favor the top 1%. Theyre both full of shit. My prediction; Charlie Baker is our next Gov winning by about 6-8%. Hes run a smarter campaign, and he is appealing to more independents than Coakley. Shes not a bad person and shes served the Commonwealth with honor, but just using the same message as every other Dem in every other election will not cut it. Unfortunately, Republicans are likely going to have the majority in the House and Senate after the election, and as sickened as I am by many Republicans social views, unless Democrats can deliver their message of growth and evolution without just using old language against the Republicans, its going to be a while before we take back the House and/or Senate, and possibly the White House too. That felt good. Im done now!
