I havent posted anything since that first bracelet. So today I thought I would post 2 necklaces I made as Christmas gifts. I also wanted to show that you dont necessarily need expensive components to make beautiful jewelry. Yes I love having artists beads to work with but I cant always afford them. So this is a knotted necklace I made for my sister-in-law. The cross was a clearanced item from Walmart, part of the Crea8 line (she also does the Articake(sp) line in Michaels. The rings over the cross and the chain in the back are also from that line. I knotted African opals, quartz, champagne crystals, and cool bumpy pandora style beads. The pandora style beads and the bead at the focal were all found in the $1.00 bead bin at Walmart. I hope you like it. My sister-in-law really did.
