I havent posted in awhile because things have been somewhat normal. And then I realized, that is a perfect reason to post! Leah is getting used to taking her medicine again. She fights us most nights but she gets it down. Right now steroids are on the menu and man are they in full force right now, super cranky and cravings that are hard to fulfill. We have found out more about Leahs treatment for the next few weeks. On the 1st of December she will receive a spinal tap and receive a very large amount of chemo, after her spinal she will be admitted to the hospital to watch her chemo levels, as soon as the chemo is out of her body enough she will be able to go home. The doctors all say that every kid is different and this could take anywhere between 3 days and 10. The week following her admission we will be traveling to childrens every day for chemo. So please pray for good weather, it is already a very long drive and when there is snow involved it is so much worse! On the 15th Leah will have another bone marrow biopsy to make sure that the Cancer is still gone. I have a feeling that she is going to be getting those often to make sure the cancer hasnt returned again. Thank you all for the amazing support, we are so thankful for each of you reading this. I am also happy to Report that my big boy is potty trained! It took some effort but he is finally doing it. Grady has always been the light in the dark. He is a true joy and I am so grateful for him everyday. A funny Grady story. We were given a gift of Avalanche tickets from the kids soon to be Grandpa Ken. While at the game Grady was watching the players all on the jumbo tron. I told him that the game was right in front of him and he didnt have to watch it on the screen. He very seriously looked at me and said mama, that is the biggest tv I ever seen. It was so cute! Love that little guy! I hope all is well with each of you! Good night!
