I havent posted many cancer updates because there has been a lot of confusion with what is causing extreme exhaustion and my blood counts to continually go down and not stabilize even after receiving platelets and transfusions. I didnt want to post something with basically no answers. Im headed to the hospital once again for chemo tomorrow. Its about a 5 day cycle but I may be in there a week or so, it just depends on well I react to everything. The doctors have found from one of my previous biopsies that I have a rare form of bone marrow disease that eats the good blood and kills my blood counts. Ive been running fevers all the way up to 105 at times and with exhaustion that makes me unable to walk around without just wanting to pass out. The chemo tomorrow will target both the lymphoma and the marrow so Im hoping the fevers quit quickly and I can start recovering. I have a lot of steroids and yucky stuff to take but I have a better frame of mind entering MD Anderson this time. Im going to tough this round out and honestly if I have energy its a whole different ball game. I can go from the bed to the couch and just monitor huge fevers so being admitted is welcome. And the fact that my Dr found this marrow problem which is usually in 2 year olds, we may eliminate a very fatal problem. Thanks for all the bday wishes yesterday and love you guys. M
