I havent posted on facebook for a while, but I was compelled or rather forced by wifey to respond to posts by Ocang Gani , Mary Gani Soemeri and Firawan Soebagjo on 20 things about me...so here it is, respond accordingly: 1. My name is Otto not because Im german, but because I was born in Japan for Otto konoo Tokyo (forgive the spelling) meaning little boy from Tokyo 2. I am the fourth of five children (3 older brothers and one little sister, or rather tall lil sis in size) . 3. On my first day on earth, I was wrapped in a glorious pink robe because my mom was ultimately hoping I would be a girl. 4. Im of Indonesian descent and nationality, but consider myself a global kid, having lived in 4 different continents and speaking 4 different languages. Freezing Finland being one of the countries. Terve! 5. I currently work as a diplomat following in my late dads footsteps. And interestingly enough, I inherited most of his good qualities at work, friendly but firm, hardworking and helpful and I hate office politics. 6. Believe it or not, my now rice belly was once a sixpack. Oh those days are long gone... 7. When dating, I had a no discrimination, equal opportunity policy during my single life, until of course I met my lovely wife. All my exes have one thing in common: they all were the exact opposite of my wife. Go figure! 8. My taste in music is somewhat limited, and stuck in time during my kmel listening days in SF. Does that station still exist? 9. My all time favorite movie is still shawshank redemption, not just for the simple fact that the plot was awesome but more so for the people I wacthed it with; baldboys! 10. Which brings me to thing #10, ive had the same bald hairstyle since I was 16, which coincidently is when I had my first real girlfriend. No wonder I stayed bald all these years. 11. My first car was a 1997 limited edition chevy camaro bought with money earned by scamming people to buy memberships at fitness usa. I hated lying to people. 12. When my mom first noticed the results of my working out, she was hysterical and yelled: what happened to your body, why is it all bumpy? Ooohhhh mom 13. Just like my bro, I am good at a lot of things but seldom great at it. I am an avid tennis, basketball, football and golf player. Nowdays I prefer to watch them on TV and yell at the screen. 14. My favorite food is anything that can be eaten with a wrap, from sushi to burritos to kebabs....yummy! 15. I was once considered a good freestyle dancer, some of which involved a cage and skimpy undergarments. Hahaha Nowadays Im limited to Zumba and the occasional dance for a laugh for my kids. 16. My favorite sports teams are all from the bay area, 49ers, Warriors and Giants. I still follow them on league pass wherever I go, yes even in Pakistan. 17. My first job was at roundtable pizza sf at minimum wage but maximum benefits, free chicken wings and pizza for my friends and family...I think theyre still wondering where all those chicken wings went... 18. I now have two university degrees that have little relation to what I currently do on a day to day basis: play candy crush! 19. I have the worst sense of direction and dont know my left from my right. Til this day I have to check which hand I write with to distinguish the two, wait...yeah thats my right hand. 20. I snore and fart loudly during my sleep which sometimes wake my kids up, sorry Keenan and Lana. Love you guys to death!
