I havent said what a wonderful time I had at my nieces. Havent been feeling well. I love when Shane takes me somewhere. He is a captive audience and I get to talk talk talk to him. Had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and I loved seeing how much Lee loved the kids. It was the first time I met him. I tell you, I wanted to ask for a ride on the 4-wheeler, but with 5 kids on it I didnt think there would be room for me. All evening someone was hugging someone. It was like we couldnt get enough hugging. Met Paul for the first time and was blown away by his smile and devil may care attitude. (I can see the smile now) Had a nice chat with my Aunts Katherine and Dorothy on the telephone. They were headed in the same direction as we were. They didnt recognize my voice but Aunt Dorothys hadnt changed a bit. And of course she named off all her kids and grandkids and greats. Up in the morning, we went to Cracker Barrell for breakfast. Did a little shopping there, I love their things. I wanted to come home so I said Good bye to Shane at Conway where he lives, and was on my way. I have no sense of direction and missed my turn off. Long story short, I was lost for an hour and 40 minutes and on country roads with no place to stop to ask how I get out of this mess. I finally came out on a state hwy. 10 minutes from Shanes home. I have a lifeline to call in times like these, but how could I use it when I didnt know where I was? I was so glad to get home. And cant wait to go back!
