I havent seen PK.. but a lot of people have been complaining of it being anti-hindu. In fact I got an email, with the detailed story of the movie (which by the way ruined my weekend plan).. but what surprised me was that the sender was deeply distressed and extremely angered by the movie.. He felt that Hindus are always targeted and it high time this should stop and revenged.. The words and language used to express his anger was something that prompted me to write this post. My view on this is that - The only form of God i have seen in my life is Love... When I refer to God, for me its a reference to this love... The pure love a parent has for his new born child, the love one has for his work, the love a partner has for the other after years of togetherness, the love you have for yourself... All these forms of love are universal.... Hindu, Muslim, Sikh or Christian all experience the same. I dont think any religion can change it!!! Every single Religion in the world today is hijacked by extremists who would do anything to increase their numbers.. Every religion only talks of spreading Love, but these extremists, in the lust to increase their numbers have distorted the preaching so badly that they induce anger.. they want one human to kill other.. they dont care about humanity.. just their numbers. Just like a few hundreds years ago, countries fought to death for land.. today its becoming a fight of extremists for followers.. The Sad part is that everyone forgets that religions were set by individuals who lived an exemplary life, immersed in deep love with themselves, deep love for others, deep love for nature and deep love for entire existence. Such was their love, that their actions and words moved millions... Ram, Krishna, Buddha, Muhammad, Jesus, Shirdi Sai Baba, Osho... all were part of this great love. PK is a movie, but surely has raised a very important question.. Is it more important for us to be called hindu, muslim or christian.. or is it more important to be in Love with yourself, be in love with nature, be in love with the world.... be in love so that you can make this world a safer, cleaner and better place to live. !! Its your right to criticize a movie or anything else.. but please dont harbor deadly Anger!!!
