I havent spoken much here of late about my furry family, but I wanted to share this photo of my dwarf lop rabbit Elmo with his big friend Henry taken last weekend. Henry came to us last August to be the husbun of our lady rabbit Stella, who sadly passed away before they could be bonded. We were wondering whether we should get Henry a lady friend when he solved his own problem-came upstairs, saw Elmo, washed Elmo till he was soaking wet (we call Hen the Big Wet Friend) and cuddled him-he chose Elmo as his bondmate. As you can see they are VERY different in size-Henry is not quite a Giant Lop but he is probably part Giant and Elmo weighs just 2 pounds (less than a kilo). I wish humans of this world could accept friendship as easily as these two rabbits accepted each other-they are inseparable now so I have two rabbits to trip over in my home office! A lesson to us all on accepting those different from us...
