I havent taken the time to talk about my experience of eating homemade fried chicken, gooey butter cake, and drinking sweet tea by Paula Deens pool with a view of the intercoastal waterway yet. All this while petting Lulu and her standard poodle as they tried to steal scraps. Well here It is and let me tell you, it was pretty cool. This woman does not act like a celebrity at all. She looked every single one of us in the eye and told us thank you for being there. One...by....one... She stood for 5 hours to do this. Tearfully thanked us for not leaving her in her dark days. I have met a few celebrities, however none of them hold a candle to the class and dignity that this woman possesses. I admittingly did not follow her closely before, but did watch on occasion and thought she was a good lady. I know now that she is a great lady and will definitely be giving her new network my time. She showed everyone what she was made of and as she said got off that couch and did something about it. She bought all of hers and her sons rights to productions and products and now has her own network. Thats how its done! Us southern girls stick together and we got your back Paula Deen along with so many others.
