I havent trimmed my beard in months. It looks horrendous. Like Andrew Luck his rookie season without having millions of dollars. The reasons for not grooming are threefold. 1) The hike to Mt Everest is cold and requires the mountain man look. I dont make the rules. 2) I dont have a job and I dont care. 3) The power in Kathmandu goes out unexpectedly and often does not turn on again for days. The act of beard trimming includes the inherent risk that only half the beard will be appropriately trimmed. The formula for initiating beard grooming is something like: utility gained from not having horrendous beard multiplied by percentage chance of power going out in the middle of grooming session must be equal to or greater than the utility lost with a horrible half trimmed beard minus its already horrible appearance. Math people, feel free to help me out.
