I havent watched the new take on Marvels Spiderman starring Sally Field and whoever those other people are portraying the other characters. Frankly I was very happy with Tobey Maguire as Spidey and very happy with Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane (Mary Jane isnt even in the new ones WTF!) and loved James Franko as Harry Osborne son of Green Goblin; not to mention Dr. Octopus was one of the best villains of the 2000s. Ok I know Spiderman 3 was a dud. But they still could have brought it back from the overly kid-friendly, overstuffed with miscast villains of little substance, rubble they had reduced it to. But now I feel like I may be getting over the fact that they rebooted it with new actors and a new origin and I may be ready to accept it solely due to Jamie Foxx as Electro. I love Jamie Foxx. I break for Django. Yes I think Im ready to give in. Anybody remember when Maguire and Dunst won Best Kiss for their iconic upside down Spiderman kiss, probably not. Do you see why thats sad? Probably not...
