I haven’t trumpeted this until now, because, even though it’s in the pre-order phase, I wanted to make sure the late summer pub date looks solid. And it does. So get your forklifts ready: It’s CD Publications’ very own Big Fat Hardcover Edition of my early post-apocalyptic epic, Dark Advent. The text benefits from a heavy coat of polish. There’s an afterword about the thing’s origins, and why I went ahead with it despite surface similarities to The Stand. And then there’s Vincent Chong’s wraparound panorama cover art. As Little Alex would say, it’s gorgeousness and gorgeousity made flesh. Finally, it comes with the infused spirit of my apologies to everyone whose eyes were ruined by the tiny type in the original paperback edition.
