I headed down a path with a friend. We stayed on the same path for a long time before going separate ways. The difference in the paths we chose later in life were just the people we surrounded ourselves with. The difference wasnt God. The difference wasnt location. It wasnt even good or bad habits. It was knowing when enough was enough. I was the lucky one. I was in an environment that forced self control on to me whether I liked it or not. I lost my friend yesterday to one of many of lifes excesses. Parents everywhere should realize that this problem can be prevented much earlier in your childs life. Dont try to control their behavior. Just their environment. RIP Smiley.
