I hear we need to be under this or that ministry ... I say we need to be under what Paul called The Whole Counsel Of God... We need all the graces and ministries that God has given to the Church. In 1996, I sat dumbfounded as a great woman of God ... Bishops Corletta Vaughn preached ... one of the things she taught was this: Apostles Govern the Church Prophets Guide the Church Evangelists Gather the Church Pastors Guard the Church Teachers Ground the Church Wow! Aint that true? We need each other. Dont come to me with gloves to fight me. Im not the one who began the confusion. Did u know that much of the confusion in the Church today was greatly accentuated in the Dark Ages? 1000 years of darkness and religious ignorance and suppression of Truth. No Bibles. No evangelism. No prophecy. Nothing ... only dead ecclesiastical order of the graveyard! Silence! But in spite of this darkness the Holy Spirit was very much alive and well. He patiently worked to bring us to where we are today ... please be patient... He is still at work. Pr Chris Oyakhilome says, THE CHURCH IS NOT FOR PERFECT PEOPLE. ITS FOR PERFECTING PEOPLE. So please be patient. If He came through the Dark Ages, He will PERFECT His work in us too. So throw away your sword that you prepared for your brothers and sisters in Christ... we are ONE!
