I heard a good friend use the term back bone while preaching the other night. It put a seed in me at the moment that may turn into one heck of tree in time. My thought is that in general as society goes, we have no back bone. This goes for believers as well, for the standing against trial has yet to be tested as a whole. When i say back bone i mean giving your enemy your shirt, or taking joy in persecution, or allowing Gods grace to supersede our egos. This seed is now a challenge. Like any seed it must best harvested, that takes time and care. I can only imagine an army with the back bone to wear the armor of God found in Ephesian 6. And not just recite the verse for there own protection, but to put it on for the war of souls. Can you feel it in yours bones? The call to be a Christian with a back bone for doing His will.
