I heard an interesting argument from a very smart guy (Kelly Starret). Why do kids in our U.S. school system have to pass Math,Science, and English to advance to the next grade but not P.E.?! Physical EDUCATION is the building block for everyone to live a healthier life (injury free, avoid sickness, cancer, disease ect.). I believe we should have standardized tests pt tests (similar to the military) to pressure people/kids to be more active. You can still make gym fun, but also teach kids how to run, jump, and move.Of course there is going to be exceptions for people with injuries, disabilities and so forth, but the majority of the population would benefit... Thoughts????
