I heard this on the radio for the first time in years the other night (I havent even played my own copy since...I cant remember--I AM getting old!), but it brings back memories of ancient days when I was a teen (when it came out in the late 70s). It also gives me a chuckle when the vocalist mentions The Hollywood Stars amongst the Punk or Punk-associated bands, which was obviously the records producer Kim Fowley wanting to get a mention in for one of the acts he assembled and produced whose sole 1977 album bombed (it was a tad overproduced--they were rawer live, and were intended to be L.As--and Fowleys--answer to the New York Dolls, and their anthemic single All The Kids On The Street wasnt a bad post-Glam slice of Power Pop). Venus & The Razorblades--geez, that was what? 37 years ago and I remember when it came out ( I AM old)...
