I heard this on the radio tonight and it brought back a lot of memories. When Lennon died, my mother, brother, sisters and I were living in what would be our last home as a family unit together until a few years later. Never again would/will the 5 of us share a home together again. To quote Sinatra, Thats life, thats what all the people say. One fun memory from late 1980 is that we had adopted an all white cat some weeks before the Lennon tragedy and hadnt yet named her. Then, one of us came up with Yoko and it stuck. It was the perfect name for our new feline companion, and she even had a better voice than Ono (exactly what I yelled when I heard one of her songs for the first time off of the Double Fantasy album, OH, NO!). Once MTV came along, we as a family were witness to a couple of great John Lennon tribute songs: All Those Years Ago by George Harrison (Paul McCartney & Ringo Starr also played on this record) and Empty Garden (Hey Hey Johnny) by Elton John. https://m.youtube/watch?v=iAJ2AoEwDvY
