I heard this song for the first time about a month ago. My aunt sent me her cover of it, and I listened to it on repeat for at least an hour. It asks all the questions you want to know and I cant help but think of all the amazing people my family and I have lost way too soon. When I listen to it today though, I especially think of my dad. Today would have been his 59th birthday, and I wish more than anything he was here to celebrate. He would have opened all his favorite gifts of peanut M&MS, New slippers, and of course new hankies. So as we celebrate your birthday down here, I know you and everyone up there are throwing one hell of a party for a man that I know deserves it more than anyone. Happy birthday dad! Miss and love you!
