I heard this song last night (not for the first time) but I needed to hear it last night. It fits with our Mops (Mothers of Preschoolers) theme this year, Be You Bravely. Ive really had to do that this year as one of the coordinators for our Mops group at Fellowship of the Parks. Ive been stepping out of my comfort zone left and right lately. I took on that role literally the same week I found out I was pregnant with Logan. Life has been chaotic and can feel overwhelming at times, but I know this is where God wants me to be. At our first meeting, I shared my story of how I struggled going from a working mom to a stay at home mom - mainly for the fact that I never wanted to be a stay at home mom. I cringe when I admit that out loud. What mom doesnt want that? (now I do.) But, after that meeting, a new mom to the group thanked me for sharing my story, because she felt the same way. Today, I had a meeting to start gearing up for our big Casino Night fundraiser for the year, and preliminary plans to get a Teen Mops program started back at our church.
