I heard via a conversation with a friend this evening that there is a RUMOUR going around the expats of Luxor that my sister and I have been attending the demonstrations / protests here. This is ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE!!!! While we FULLY support the Egyptian people, and especially our brothers and sisters here in Luxor, ONE MILLION PERCENT in this latest REVOLUTION, we recognise that it is NOT our fight as we are not Egyptian....yet...and therefore it is not our place to join these demonstrations. We will continue to encourage via Facebook and will continue to be excited and happy when things move forward towards democracy as we both love this country with all our heart. We just wish that some of our own countrymen and women would GET THEIR FACTS STRAIGHT BEFORE SLAGGING US OFF!!!! If the person or people spreading this RUMOUR are referring to our profile pictures as PROOF that we were part of the demos then CHECK THE DATE OF THE PHOTO!!! These were taken at the WALK FOR TOURISM, which was NOT a demonstration, on the 26th APRIL!!!
