I heartily congratulate Rt. Hon Julius G. Pondi for emerging victorious in this keenly contested Burutu Federal Constituency primary election of our great party, the PDP. You ran a spirited moved, and you fully deserved the victory. I am very confidence that you will provide the needed leadership to turn this Burutu LGA around. I have no doubt that you will work assiduously with dedicated and qualified Burutuans to protect our citizens, improve education and reform governance. You will indeed bring the change Burutuans have been yearning for. Once more, congratulations. I congratulate the other contestants, namely Tito Zuokumor and Timi Brisibe as well as the erudite Rt. Hon (Engr) Frank P. C Enekorogha. You have all demonstrated your commitment to democracy by participating in this process. I call on all other contestants and our partys rank and file to unite behind our candidate at all levels to ensure that the APC, LP is defeated, so Burutuans can have real change. However, since we came up short, have to now rally behind Rt. Hon Julius G. Pondi to help him prevail in the coming general election on 14th Feb, 2015. I sincerely thanks the committee for putting together a hitch-free convention. My dear Burutu people and specially ward 10 and ward 11, we have emerged the winner.
