I hesitate, out of fear of reprisal and more incredibly intense emotional pain, to voice any opinion on this, as this is the religion of my upbringing. In that hesitation, I find that I dislike myself greatly. I feel like a liar and a hypocrite to all the individuals who have experienced deep thoughts about the human condition. Thus I will express this, because of my knowledge of the history of religions and the persecution that was handed down to those that disagreed or questioned; through experience of my own, that only I can truly feel and comprehend, it is my belief that the human condition would be greatly enhanced for the good if ALL individuals that desired it and were psychologically healthy and able, were given the opportunity to hold any position of authority in any and all organizations including all religions. Hinckley interview from 1997 with David Ransom where David asked point blank could the rules on priesthood change for women through revelation like they did for blacks? and he said yes, but there is no agitation for that...and then the Church excommunicates Kelly for providing the agitation and asking them to pray about it.
