I highly appreciate critical roles played by Former Minister Hon. Ganesh Shah and river conservation pioneer Mr Megh Ale; positivity of NPC Vice Chair Dr. Govinda Pokharel, and other guests including Dr. Dinesh Devkota, Dr. RB Khadka, Dr. Kedar Rijal; newly appointed DG of Department of Environment, MOSTE; and number of other people drawn from various sources to make todays programme happen. I appreciate and recognize also hard works of Prof Dr Madan Koirala, Er Salil Devkota, Mr Sagar Tiwari, Mr Mausam Khanal, Mr Ramesh Bhushal among others in pushing the idea of developing a common platform for most environment professionals in Nepal in most inclusive ways. At the same time, I highly condemn ill moves of insecure and failed politicians offending and insulting existing Nepal Environment Society team members and killing time of over 60 enthusiasts who came to make the event a success and for distracting them from the main agenda, fulfilling their very personal agenda. I believe this clearly shows we are yet to attain the phase in which this kind of intellectual discourses can find meaningful space and conclusions.
