I hit my wall. I try to stay pretty positive on here but today - TopicsExpress

I hit my wall. I try to stay pretty positive on here but today was just a BAD day...despite all of my planning & rising above techniques I implemented. It just HIT ME like a ton of bricks and I broke down. I decided that I could either head to Dairy Queen or hit the gym. You can see what I chose. I pushed play with #21DayFix and found myself crying (like PISSED OFF tears) in the middle of SURRENDERS. That just made me even more angry! So, I turned on TEDtalks and listened to how he explained that 90% of our HAPPINESS is based on what happens on the INSIDE. Our circumstance DOES NOT make us HAPPY. WE DO! At the end of the 30 minutes, I was still all weepy and angry so I put in #PiyoDrench and cranked up some praise music. I kept thinking about what #DianaNyad said at BB Summit, THIS WILL NOT DEFINE ME! I will CHOOSE to be happy! I said it over and over during splits, downward dog, lunges, push-ups, etc...until I believed it! The last 10 minutes my daughter, niece and nephew joined the workout and I realized how AWESOME it was to be giggling during PiYo together. I can move. I have beautiful babies. I have a family that loves me. I have a career I adore. I have my Faith. PLUS, I could do 3 things that I couldnt do 60 days ago!!!! (Tricep push-ups with a leg lift, full splits, and hand grab during right angle pose!) S-W-E-E-T! Achieving physical goals, counting your blessings and filling your head with personal development go a LONG way. Yes, its totally ok to have a bad day. Just dont stay down too long. When life knocks you down, do a tricep push-up, then chase it with a chocolate #Shakeology. ;-)
